Why should I choose KatIvey Photography for my real estate photos?
Simply put, you will receive personalized attention and the services of a professional photographer throughout the process. Other service providers may use a professional to shoot the photos, but they may be processed either by clerical help or overseas. I personally process and individually touch up each photo myself.
Can you upload to MLS for me?
Due to MLS regulations, 3rd party vendors, such as myself, are not allowed to log into MLS under your user name and password. In order to protect both me and my clients and run my business in the most ethical way possible, I do not provide that service.
What rights do I have to my photos and what rights do you retain?
Photos are the intellectual property of KatIvey Photography. The agent or client is given temporary usage rights to use the photos until the property is sold or goes off the market. Your photo image rights are non-transferable and cannot be traded or sold.
What is expected of me?
If I am providing Basic Photography service only, I expect the home to be clean and in showing condition, including clean windows inside and out; de-cluttered rooms; de-personalized rooms; neatly cut and trimmed lawn, trees and shrubbery; countertops and vanities free of clutter; no burnt out lightbulbs, etc. For best results, the home should be professionally staged.
If I am providing Quick-Stage and Shoot services, I expect the home to be clean and close to show-ready, including clean windows inside and out; neatly cut and trimmed lawn, tree and shrubbery; no burnt out lightbulbs; and countertops and vanities mostly free of clutter.
Is there any situation where you will refuse service?
I retain the right to refuse or delay service if the property appears to be hazardous/unsafe or if it is in such poor condition that it would not benefit from my services.
